The Sarmiento is a custom dining table handcrafted in solid American White Oak at our Brookvale workshop in Sydney. It combines a clean, minimalist tabletop with a strong, architectural leg design: a table that is both elegant and grounded, at home in a modern apartment or a spacious family home.
A softly rounded outer edge runs along each leg from top to floor, and the tabletop echoes the same roundover precisely at the corners where it meets the legs, creating a seamless, considered transition between surfaces. It is the kind of detail that reveals the level of craft that goes into every piece we make.
American White Oak is one of the most popular timbers for fine furniture making. Its light, warm tone and consistent grain make it incredibly versatile, pairing beautifully with linen, stone, and natural materials. It is hard, stable, and resistant to daily wear.
