Rocky — furniture maker and co-founder of B.A. Furniture, handcrafting timber in our Brookvale Sydney workshop

Furniture built to last generations. Designed in Sydney, with an Argentinian soul.

Where it all started, the Melbourne balcony workshop where B.A. Furniture was born

We're Rocky and Marina, a couple who left Buenos Aires with a passion for timber and found in Australia the place to turn it into a life's work. Rocky grew up learning the craft from the ground up, working alongside traditional furniture makers in Argentina before bringing those skills halfway across the world. Marina's eye for design and interiors shapes every piece we create together.

We started B.A. Furniture out of a small garage in Melbourne, with nothing but the tools, the knowledge, and the belief that well-made furniture is worth the time it takes. Today we run a full workshop in Brookvale, Sydney. And every piece we make is still built by hand, made to order, and designed to be passed down through generations.

That's not a tagline. It's just how we work.

From a Melbourne balcony to our Brookvale workshop

Rocky learned his craft from a young age in Argentina, working across different workshops and absorbing traditional carpentry techniques that are rarely taught anymore. Marina brought her passion for interior design and a clear eye for what makes a home feel right.

When we arrived in Australia over ten years ago, we started from scratch, studying, working, building. Somewhere in the middle of all that, we found a way to do what we'd always wanted: solid timber furniture, made by hand, without shortcuts.

What started in a Melbourne balcony is now a full workshop in Brookvale, with a team that shares the same obsession with getting the details right.
