Furniture Care
-
For day-to-day cleaning, use a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive cloths, or excess moisture, as these can damage the finish and timber over time.
-
Use coasters and placemats to protect against heat and moisture. Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight or near heating vents for extended periods, as this can cause the timber to dry out or fade. Felt pads under objects can also help prevent scratching.
-
This depends on the finish applied to your piece. Hardwax oil finishes can be re-oiled periodically to maintain their appearance and protection. If you're unsure what finish your piece has, contact us and we'll advise.
