The Patagonia in American Walnut is a custom dining table handcrafted at our Brookvale workshop in Sydney. What sets it apart is the relationship between the tabletop and the legs: both share the same distinctive organic shape, a softly curved silhouette that gives the piece a sculptural, flowing quality rarely found in solid timber furniture. The underside of the tabletop features a generous 25mm roundover that catches the light and reduces visual weight, making the top appear to float despite being crafted from solid, substantial timber. The legs are solid rectangular blocks in the same timber, their profile echoing the top's curves to create a seamless, considered whole.
American Walnut is one of the most prized furniture timbers in the world. Its deep chocolate-brown colour, fine grain, and natural lustre give it an immediate warmth and sophistication. Each plank carries its own unique character, subtle figuring, gentle colour variation, making every Patagonia table a genuinely one-of-a-kind piece.
The table is fully made to order at our Sydney workshop. We work closely with each customer to get the dimensions, proportions, and finish exactly right for their space.
