The Nuñez in Tasmanian Blackwood is a custom TV entertainment unit handcrafted at our Brookvale workshop in Sydney. It brings the same balanced, practical design as our Oak version: two solid timber doors with fine vertical groove detailing, one on each side, and two central drawers with integrated finger pulls, all sitting on elegantly tapered, rounded mid-century style legs that lift the piece with a light, considered presence.
Softly rounded edges run throughout the piece, giving it a warm, tactile quality that invites touch and softens the overall silhouette. Doors run on Blum soft-close hinges and drawers on Blum Movento runners for smooth, silent operation.
Tasmanian Blackwood ranges in colour from golden amber to deep reddish-brown, often with dramatic wavy figuring that gives it an almost three-dimensional depth. In a living room setting, it is genuinely breathtaking: a piece of furniture that doubles as a work of art.
