The Barracas is a custom timber bathroom vanity handcrafted in solid Wormy Chestnut at our Brookvale workshop in Sydney. Wormy Chestnut is a truly remarkable timber: its distinctive worm-hole markings and rich amber-brown tones make it instantly recognisable and unlike anything you will find in a mass-produced vanity. No two pieces are ever the same.
The Barracas features a single generous solid timber drawer with an integrated finger pull on Blum Movento runners for smooth, long-lasting operation. A 45-degree internal chamfer runs along the frame edges, a precise constructive detail that reduces visual weight and gives the piece a clean, refined presence without losing its warmth. It is a vanity that makes a genuine statement in any bathroom.
The Barracas is fully made to order at our Sydney workshop. Width, depth, height, and configuration can all be adjusted to suit your space and plumbing layout.
